We're seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead Cucina Regina, one of Brisbane's celebrated dining destinations, located within The Star Brisbane.

Cucina Regina brings the elegance and warmth of Italian hospitality to the heart of the city, delivering exceptional food, genuine service and memorable guest experiences. As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the venue, leading a high performing team, driving financial results, and ensuring every guest experience reflects the premium standards of The Star Brisbane.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in fast paced environments and is committed to developing people, driving performance and creating unforgettable dining experiences.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of Cucina Regina, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences.
  • Drive financial performance through effective management of labour, revenue, costs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Build, coach and develop a high performing team through recruitment, training, succession planning and ongoing development.
  • Foster a positive and engaged team culture that reflects The Star's values and service standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase guest satisfaction, loyalty and repeat visitation.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with culinary and broader Food & Beverage leaders to deliver operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor venue performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and profitability.

What are we looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience managing premium dining venues, high volume restaurants or luxury hospitality operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs, revenue performance and operating expenses.
  • Demonstrated success in building, developing and retaining high performing teams.
  • A passion for guest experience and delivering personalised service.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience driving operational improvements and leading teams through change.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Flexibility to work across a seven day rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
