As our Senior People Systems Analyst, reporting to the General Manager Workforce Performance you will support the People Systems team providing system administration and configuration of The Star’s Human Resource Information System.  

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in ensuring The Star’s HR systems run effectively and support the day-today needs of the business.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Manage the system needs of the People & Performance department and identify, analyse, and recommend business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Manage and oversee technology testing cycle (end to end) from concept, design, testing, deployment to production by engaging with business function owners.
  • Coordinate activities with IT, Payroll, Finance and People & Performance to ensure timely and accurate flow of information.
  • Proactively assesses the system needs of the department and identify, analyse, and recommend business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Manage the Technology Release Planning process, ensuring change request logged, communication provided to P&P, all testing is completed during preview stage, issues raised to vendor, through to transition to production.
  • Be a subject matter expertise across People & Performance Technology ensuring deliverables are in line with our technology roadmap and progress is communicated and delivered in a timely manner.

 

What we are looking for

  • Experience (5+ years) in HR Technology in a large complex organisation, including functionality and frameworks.
  • Highly developed competency with HR systems, particularly in SAP
  • Ability to think strategically, across a multi-year timeframe to ensure long-term objectives and planning are achieved.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyse complex payroll situations and make system recommendations.
  • SAP Employee Central Payroll end to end experience as a system analyst, including requirements gathering and end to end testing as well as experience in payroll processing function
