As Senior Manager Risk Governance and Reporting, reporting to the General Manager Property Risk and Compliance, you will support the delivery and oversight of The Star Sydney’s risk management strategy and key priorities.

This role is also responsible for managing regulatory affairs, including engagement with the NSW regulator and law enforcement agencies, and overseeing regulatory notices.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager to define The Star Sydney’s risk management strategy and priorities
• Monitor and report on remediation progress, milestones, and key risk initiatives
• Build and manage relationships with NSW and Federal regulators
• Coordinate and manage open issues and actions in line with policy
• Ensure timely and compliant responses to regulatory requests and notices
• Lead action plan development for risk culture survey outcomes
• Lead the risk governance and reporting team to drive a strong risk culture
• Share risk insights to support proactive risk management across the business

What we are looking for: 

• 8+ years’ experience in risk, compliance, governance, or strategy within casino/gaming, financial services, corporate or government sectors
• Experience engaging with regulators and government stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven leadership and influencing capabilities
• Advanced risk committee and board reporting skills
• Deep understanding of risk maturity, including operational risk, regulatory compliance, and reputational risk
