Count Cashier | The Star Brisbane

As a Count Cashier, you will play a key role in collecting cash and cash equivalents from Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and table gaming operations, ensuring the accurate counting, reconciliation and recording of gaming revenue in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Working within a secure cash handling environment, you will process and verify large volumes of cash, operate cash counting equipment, and support card and dice control activities while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, integrity and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in high-volume cash handling, with the ability to accurately count, reconcile and balance large amounts of cash.
• Strong mathematical skills and excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy when working with figures.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure, controlled environment while maintaining focus, confidentiality and compliance with strict procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing a hands-on role that involves standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift, pushing and manoeuvring trolleys, and undertaking regular bending, twisting and lifting activities.
• A strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and maintaining the highest standards of safety, security and accuracy.

Must be available for early morning starts each day including weekends and public holidays (4.30am starts)
