As a Handyperson in our Star Residences Hotel, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties from minor repairs and renovations to general maintenance. Your expertise will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence that our guests have come to expect.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Perform a range of maintenance tasks, including minor repairs such as patching, painting, tiling, AV equipment support, and general building upkeep.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes, while strictly adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Property Operations team to proactively identify, prioritise, and resolve maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of all work completed.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of maintenance activities and small-scale projects as required.

What are we looking for

  • Proven experience as a handyperson, with practical skills in general building maintenance, including basic carpentry or plumbing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
