As the Venue Manager for our acclaimed Japanese restaurant at The Star Gold Coast, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual with expertise in premium food & beverage service. In this role you will be responsible for the day–to-day operation and effective management of the dynamic team in Kiyomi, which offer a unique crafted customer experience to our guests. 

A few of your responsibilities: 

• Manage the operational requirements of the venue and provide leadership and direction 
• Lead the selection, training and development of team members to ensure timely recruitment and career growth 
• Maintain a guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient 
• Assist with the development and implementation of business plans for the venues 
• Implement strategies to increase repeat guests and positive guest experiences 
• Communicate and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality service standards are maintained 
• Ensure policies & procedures are followed - including Liquor Licensing, WH&S and Food Safety

What are we looking for: 

• Extensive Food & Beverage leadership experience within a high-end venue
• Ability to identify and drive additional revenue & business opportunities 
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members
• Strong stakeholder management experience, people leadership and team engagement skills 
• Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail 
• Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage 
• Flexible availability to meet business needs
