The Safety and Security Supervisor, reporting to the Safety and Security Duty Manager will support security management and supervise the operational functions of the Security Department ensuring an effective, efficient and professional operation of the security function. 
 
A few of your responsibilities   

• Supervise Security operations to ensure compliance with all Federal and State statutory requirements and company policy and procedures within the work environment.  

• Monitor the CCTV system to assist with the detection of undesirable activities.  

• Assist with the completion of monthly audits and investigations on any compliance breaches relating to systems control, WH&S and administration.  

• Attend to gaming disputes and supervise incidents and re-entries of excluded persons.  

• Supervise team members and complete all people planning requirements including, training and development and performance management. 

What we will be looking for 

• Previous Security experience within an integrated casino resort environment 

• Demonstrated 5+ years experience within the Security industry 

• Current First Aid and RSA Certificates 

• Current QLD Security license and Certificate II in Security Operations 

• People management experience

You will be an experienced Security professional with a demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people. With experience in controlling labour costs as well as operating expenses, you will understand the importance of leading by example and encouraging open communication throughout the team and key stakeholders.
