As an Assistant Front Office Manager at The Star Grand, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of luxury hospitality, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals in one of the most iconic and prestigious properties in Sydney. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and an unparalleled guest experience.

few of your responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained upon check-in and during our guests stay
  • Manage The Star Grand Loyalty Program and affiliated programs 
  • Ensure all guest comment cards are distributed to relevant departments and respond to guests when required
  • Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development of the team

 

What we are looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric approach
  • Knowledge of Opera property management system
  • Flexibility availability including evenings and weekends
