About the role:

As our Compliance Officer, reporting to the Manager of Breach Reporting you will play a critical role in ensuring TSEG maintains its high standards of corporate compliance, contributing to a culture of accountability and sustainable business practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support the business in navigating regulatory landscapes, fostering strong compliance awareness, and delivering impactful compliance initiatives aligned with The Star’s vision.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain compliance programs to support corporate compliance strategies.
• Analyse compliance data to identify trends, determine areas of concern, and implement improvements.
• Compile statistical information and prepare compliance reports for management and external regulators.
• Assist in planning, developing, and delivering training on compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure adherence to The Star’s Code of Conduct, sustainability goals, and WHS requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive meaningful action.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to foster a culture of accountability.
• Be a self-starter and self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Experience within Regulatory Breach Management principles / practices and Conflict of Interest management is desired.
