You will learn the critical knowledge and skills needed to perform the Guest Support Officer role. You will expand your current knowledge of associated systems, business compliance obligations as well as methods aligned with our PVPs that are used to support our guests and colleagues.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can enhance your learning through a blended learning experience. You will participate in classroom learning as well as shadow a current Safer Gaming representative finally cementing your learning in the capacity of a Guest Support Officer.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Support the Company’s safer gambling strategy and program.
  • Respond to time play alerts when required
  • Identify signs of gambling problems and support guests to make adequate decisions about their ongoing gambling activity
  • Promote the principles and practices of safer gambling across the operational teams
  • Manage Responsible Gambling related exclusion and revocation processes in accordance with company policy

 

What we will be looking for:

  • Currently hold a Certificate of Competency to perform the licensed role of a Gaming Supervisor (i.e. this includes GLDP 1, HDs and Gaming Supervisors).
  • Available to cover a 24/7 rotating roster.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite.
  • An endorsement from your team leader (or Table Games Manager in their absence).

You are a current Sydney Table Games Team member with an exemplary performance record and exceptional customer service and communication skills. You display a strong alignment with the Star’s PVPs and have a passion for furthering your career.
