The Events Logistics Supervisor position is a hands-on and active role which will assist in the effective running of the logistics team in our Event Centre. In this role you will provide engaging and high-quality guest service and coordinate team members to maintain the service flow and performance standards of the outlet. You will be comfortable in operating a forklift, manual pallet jacket, and be able to complete physical tasks such as unloading stock or equipment.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Supervise the Logistics team members and assistant the Management team with the training & development of the team

• Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between all shifts

• Encourage a positive working relationship between Food and Beverage outlets and other departments within the company

• Monitor the personal grooming of all team members, ensuring that a high level of professional appearance is maintained at all times
• Report all faults, repairs and maintenance requirements in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to the business

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability in developing productive workplace relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Forklift, Traffic, and White Card license

You will have previous experience in leading a team, preferably with proven experience in events or logistics.
