As a Painter, you will be responsible for executing tasks, responding to call outs, faults and troubleshooting issues for guests and team members at The Star.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your technical skills and trade expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Painting details, both interior and exterior
• Touch up and refurnishing of furniture and fixings
• Maintain proficiency in colour matching, touch up refinishing of furniture and also repair and hanging of wall coverings
• Carry out routine inspections of assigned areas and report and repair as required
• Complete all work/repairs in a safe, professional and efficient manner

What are we looking for:

• Trade qualification with basic computer skills are essential
• Previous experience in trade and plastering experience
• Good all-round experience in building repair, paint matching and touch up work
• Experience in a similar large hotel environment highly regarded
