As a Food and Beverage Attendant for our Events team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that the first and last impression is enthusiastic and professional. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and engaging to ensure that our guests receive optimum service every time with events experience highly regarded.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your dedicated customer service skills throughout our events space at The Star Gold Coast. When it comes to putting on a show for our customers, you don't get much better! Our busy Events Department accommodates a range of conventions, exhibitions, functions Galas, weddings, and special events.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and efficient food & beverage service
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures  
• Ensure RSA standards are maintained
• Creating and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

What are we looking for:

• Experience working in a hospitality or customer service role (events experience highly regarded)
• Passion to learn and grow your career in the hospitality industry
• Flexible availability with weekends essential
• Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment
