As our Senior Due Diligence Manager, reporting to the Head of Customer Due Diligence you will support and provide effective management of customer due diligence screening and associated report preparation, within the Financial Crime Line 1 team, in accordance with the AML/CTF Program
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support risk related activities to ensure TSEG, and its officers and directors, are able to appropriately oversee risk performance ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory obligations.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Ensure matters which eventuate from Due Diligence reviews, that pose an AML/CTF financial crime risk, are escalated with a recommendation/action in a timely manner to the Head of Customer Due Diligence.
- Work in an efficient manner to complete all work tasks accurately and within the allotted timeframe, support and mentor Managers and Analysts, and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and respect.
- Forecast adequate staff resourcing to ensure Service Level Agreements are achieved.
- Drive innovation in due diligence operations, identifying and implementing enhancement opportunities to deliver efficiencies and increase performance.
- Review and understand customer probity risk to the business, exercising judgement in the analysis of those risks to ensure appropriate management and mitigation via reporting and recommendations.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary studies in a subject requiring a high level of independent research and critical analysis e.g. Law, Economics or Business.
- Extensive understanding of relevant statutory AML/CTF compliance and reporting requirements.
- Highly practiced operations management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in financial crime investigations in the gambling/casino industry would be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
