The Leisure & Entertainment Marketing Manager, reporting to the General Manager Marketing, will develop and manage commercially focussed campaigns in our Entertainment, Food & Beverage and Hotels departments across The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of brand and tactical marketing campaigns in the L&E space for The Star Sydney, with a focus on Entertainment, F&B and Hotels to reach revenue targets and ROMI.
- Create reports and measurements on the impact of marketing activity via post implementation reviews to evaluate and provide strategic direction to the General Manager Marketing
- Ensure relevant contracted events are appropriately marketed to drive revenue through ticket sales, on-property traffic and retail activation
- Develop, implement and monitor effective communication channels and other touch points with the objective to increase brand awareness and brand affinity, whilst driving revenue and market share.
- Leverage events by ensuring the organisation maximises the brand exposure it can achieve in all forms, identifying cross sell and up selling opportunities where possible
- Manage allocated budget including but not limited to monthly reporting and accruals
- Develop marketing campaigns that comply with RSA and RCG codes, statutory requirements and company policy
What are we looking for
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing, advertising or brand development within a hospitality/gaming or related industry
- Tertiary degree qualified in business, marketing or related field
- Proven experience leading a team in a high-volume environment managing tight and conflicting deadlines
- Strong communication skills to confidently lead discussions and manage expectations and demands of stakeholders across multiple jobs
- Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular Privacy, Marketing and related laws and ability to understand regulatory legislation

You are a passionate marketing leader who specialises in crafting and executing strategies to attract and engage audiences for a variety of leisure and entertainment activities. You enjoy tracking campaign and project performances, measuring success, and adjusting strategies based on data.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Marketing operations at The Star Sydney.
