As the Demi Chef in Kiyomi, our signature Japanese restaurant, you will work closely with the leadership team to ensure high standards of product quality and service are consistently achieved. Collaborating with our talented chefs, you will contribute to the creation of innovative and flavourful culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.

A few of your responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and consistency of food served
• Assist with section activity to maintain timing, quality, and consistency during shift
• Ensure all equipment is clean, operational, and safely used
• Assist in stock rotation, portion control, and report on low stock or wastage
• Support the development of Commis and Apprentice Chefs within the team

What are we looking for

• Proven Culinary experience in a high-end, fine dining kitchen
• Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning
• Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
